  1. CHIEF'S INSTALLER PRO (for Windows).
  2. This program is an "off the shelf"
  3. installation package for Windows
  4. programs. It can be used to install
  5. Windows packages of almost any size
  6. (up to 45 installation disks). The
  7. files may be compressed (with MS
  8. COMPRESS.EXE) or uncompressed. Both
  9. types of file are handled transparently.
  10. The installer will optionally create a
  11. Program Manager group, and up to 45
  12. Program Manager icons.
  13. The package also includes an UNINSTALLER
  14. which can be used to "uninstall" any
  15. package that was installed with Chief's
  16. Installer. This takes the risk out of
  17. installing Windows packages.
  18. The installer provides support for
  19. PARTIAL and OPTIONAL installations, and
  20. for languages other than English.

  23. Registration costs £20 (U.K. Sterling); or
  24. $29 (US); or equivalent.
